Mortgage Recruiting Coordinator/Talent Sourcer

Castle and Cooke Mortgage is currently seeking a Mortgage Recruiting Coordinator/Talent Sourcer to join our team! The Recruiting Coordinator/Talent Sourcer main responsibility is to actively look for passive candidates and to provide administrative support to the recruiting team. In addition to generating new business production by recruiting and hiring mortgage professionals in an assigned territory. The Recruiter works closely with Sales Leaders and reports to the National Recruiting Manager.

  • Attempts to source passive candidates through networking, cold calling, LinkedIn, Social Media and all other related recruiting best practices.
  • Cold Calling assigned duties with minimum quota to meet weekly.
  • Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
  • Maintain candidate databases.
  • Provide administrative support the recruiting team as well as National Recruiting Manager.
  • Assist if needed with HR and onboarding processes for talent sourced.
  • Meets hiring goals as determined by the National Recruiting Manager.
  • Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for independently managing their assigned tasks and workflow items to satisfy turn-time requirements. Weekly reporting to be turned into National Recruiting Manager.
  • Respond and maintain email communication in a timely manner within personal and if applicable department email boxes.
  • Communicate directly with the National Recruiting Manager in order to review goals, pipeline and strategy.
  • Works effectively with team members and both internal and external clients to communicate staffing needs.
  • Possesses excellent working knowledge of all things Castle and Cooke Mortgage, and its departments and resources.
  • Builds positive relationships with leadership and corporate departments while maintaining current SLA agreements with CCM departments.
  • Stays abreast of any changes and/or new products and makes appropriate adjustments to processes and procedures in job function.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned by National Recruiting Manager.
  • Proven work Experience as a prior Talent Sourcer.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment; strong sense of urgency and responsiveness.
  • Experience in cultivating and maintaining ongoing contact with candidates.
  • Maintain confidentiality of candidate and company information.
  • Is not deterred by cold calling consumer direct loan officers. As well as performing phone screens on applicants who have applied to a job posting.
  • Possesses strong ability to prioritize important assignments and can be flexible to support periodic team or organization needs.
  • Solve problems promptly, communicate effectively with internal and external customers, and work well under pressure.
  • Proficiency in various computer software programs including: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Proficient in LinkedIn, Indeed, Surefire Top of Mind, and other business applications.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills are required as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service, communication, organization and analytical problem resolution skills, as well as detail oriented.


  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ recruiting experience in a sales environment. Mortgage or real estate preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years' mortgage experience is required.

Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma Required. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience will be considered.
