Michelle Bissonnette marks 2016 as her 30th year in the mortgage banking industry and the same year she joined Castle & Cooke Mortgage after an in-depth research process to find a company that would align with her own commitment to excellence. Michelle’s career started in processing. She then pursued mortgage origination which led to managing and mentoring mortgage origination teams during the past 16 years. Castle & Cooke Mortgage also supports Michelle in continuing to follow her passion as a mentor: watching people grow and learn how to find financial success and stability for themselves and their families.

Because Castle & Cooke Mortgage holds the bar high at the corporate and branch level, Michelle’s team is able to maintain a razor-focused edge in customer service and turn times which set them apart from local and national competitors. Michelle says there is no reason why clients shouldn’t expect a seamless mortgage process. Even with the most complicated mortgage or credit circumstances, steadfast communication and setting appropriate expectations mean that our clients are guaranteed a positive and straightforward experience.

Michelle also believes in maintaining a brand that her industry partners – builders and realtors – can trust. That’s why she is committed to upholding 24-hour underwriting turn times and the highest levels of efficiency and customer service. Plus, the comprehensive suite of loans available at Castle & Cooke Mortgage allows Michelle and her team to serve a greater diversity of clients with loans that meet each borrowers needs precisely.

Away from the office, Michelle and her husband are empty nesters who enjoy dining out and traveling whenever they can. They have five adult children and one grand-daughter who keep them young. The arts have always played a big role in Michelle’s life too – literature, writing, art and music. She reports that this focus (and lack of TV) have made her own children well-written and well-spoken, and she hopes the legacy continues with the next generation of her family.
