All-in refi campaign a huge success!
According to a recent study from Bankrate, 74% of homeowners haven't refinanced despite historically low mortgage rates. At Castle & Cooke Mortgage, we're doing something about it (and growing your pipelines in the process)!
We had high hopes for our recent all-in refi text campaign, and we're pretty proud of the effort so far.
Incredible results
On your behalf, we reached more than 6,000 borrowers via two text messages and two emails. The results so far?
- 171 applications (and counting!)
- An active pipeline of almost $50 million
- More than $4.5 million in funded loans (and counting!)
Honolulu Branch Manager Kara Beltran was an early adopter, and she recalls the first day the campaign went out.
"The first day it came through I was siting at my desk working," she said. "My phone was blowing up with text messages and I was like, 'What in the world is going on?'
"As soon as I saw what it was, I immediately responded to each and every one of (the text messages inquiries)," she explained. "It took a good 90 minutes but it was my focus to connect immediately, and it panned out."
As soon as the campaign was available for the loan officers on her team, she encouraged them to take full advantage. In total, 14 leads have either closed loans or have them in process—in Honolulu alone!
How Hawaii maximized the campaign
- Respond immediately to ‘each’ lead that expresses interest. Even a simple “Received your message, I will respond in more detail directly from my cell phone xxx-xxx-xxxx,” does the trick.
- From your personal mobile phone, ask the lead to text you their latest mortgage statement and current email address and ask if they want CASH OUT or NO CASH OUT.
- Follow up the same day—no later than 24 hours—with an explicit closing cost worksheet laying out the numbers.
