Grow Time - November 2023

We're trying something new for this month. We decided that everything around November Grow Time will rally around a central theme: it's not a bad time to buy real estate. Put your pessimism aside (that was directed to you, not the consumers - but you'll get to convey the same message through your strategic marketing).

Here is your 5-step marketing plan for November.

1) Pre-schedule all your posts NOW. Click here to jump down to our social calendar. Don't worry, there will be a link down there to come back to this section. I'll wait.

2) Send the Existing Homeowners: Buying Real Estate Can Still Be Worth It! email to everyone in your Total Expert who funded a loan with you in 2020, 2021, and through March 31, 2022. Filter your contact lists using the Loan Funded Date filter. If you need help with this, contact the Marketing Team

If you are a newbie without any fundings during this time period, don't worry! Proceed to the next step.

3) If you have a database of First Time Homebuyers who are in Total Expert, send the First Time Homebuyers: Don't Give Up On Homeownership! email to them.

If you don't, reach out to one (or several) of your agent partners and ask if they have any. Tell them you'll co-brand the email with them. Reach out to the Marketing Team for instructions on how to do this (as well as to upload any lists your agents give you).

If you are a newbie without any leads, talk to your branch manager and ask for some. Contact agents together!

4) Pick and choose at least two flyers to download and print from Total Expert. All branch managers should have an account with Office Depot/Office Max for printing. Or you can email the Marketing Team for our wholesale printing options. Print 100 copies of each flyer.

Divide these up into groups of 25 of each flyer. You can choose from one of the two options: Visit four real estate offices and deliver 25 copies of each flyer (50 total). Or visit two real estate offices and leave 50 copies of each flyer (100 total). Don't forget to leave some business cards (contact us if you ran out). Grab some of your kid's candy haul from Halloween or buy candy on clearance and leave some treats too.

5) Pick at least one postcard for an EDDM (Every Door Direct Mailing). If you are in a branch with multiple LOs, coordinate together so we don't send the same card to the same routes. Schedule a call with the Marketing Team so we can help you with route selection, and organize everything on your behalf.

You may have noticed this month's Grow Time has been streamlined. We have revamped the Keys to Success page with a ton of training articles and videos to aid you, and overall cleaned up this page.

There are a lot of call to actions this month. Start TODAY to hit the ground running. Branch Managers should expect a check in mid-month from Scott or Kaylee asking for progress on flyer deliveries, and EDDMs.

Marketing will audit every LO's Total Expert account on November 30th to see if the recommended emails have been sent. If they haven't, expect us to ask why.

This format of Grow Time is an experiment. We are already working on something bigger for December. Don't let the holidays stop you from aggressive outreach and marketing. YOU CAN DO THIS.
